Good grief, on a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, what was that colorful stuff that Snoopy put on their plates?

At the Thanksgiving dinner, Peppermint Patty was going off about the the food and he called off toast, popcorn and pretzels…what was the colorful stuff on the plate suppose to be, it looked like huge Cheeze Doodle Jelly Beans not sure?
Btw, I swear I didn’t know Peppermint Patty was a girl until tonight!!! I always thought this dude just really liked Charlie Brown..duh!
