This is for Rob, Erin and Amy.This piano rendition was recorded on November 13,2007 at the Word of Mouth Studio in Algiers, La.(New Orleans). This is the most requested tune that I ever have played in public settings. In Jan. 1,2001 I opened the new Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland. The setting was in a Craftsman inspired design. At the time the idea was for me to play music from the Arts and Crafts era (1890-1930) but requests were allowed. By far this was the most popular piece of music. This music is known as “Peanuts”, “Charlie Brown” and “Snoopy” to most listeners.

Variations and improvisations are the tools of the jazz performer. This interpretation created itself spontaneously in the recording studio. Chances are good that this was a moment in time and the next performance could bring something completely different.
